I guess I have been leading the Wanqing so-called celebrities' lifestyle because I bump into 5 celebrities this week. The reasoning is you can't bump into celebrities unless you are doing the things that they are doing and being at the places that they hang out at. So Liting is leading a celebrity's lifestyle. Cheap thrill :)Went shopping with Wanqing yesterday. Saw this guess skirt and top that I really like. But after 50% and 30% discount respectively , they are still at the price of $72.25 and $49. Since I am not working and Boyfriend has been scolding me about being a spendthrift, I can't really afford to buy them. And I felt extremely sad. So the final decision that I made, which made me feel better, was to wait for Boyfriend to come back from M'sia. I think he would get it for me if I really want it bad enough :) So in other words, since I am not spending the money, I can't really be considered to be a spendthrift. lol
The highlight of yesterday wasn't the trip to Guess. It is the detownification that Wanqing and I both had at ECP. We have decided that we are so sick of the shopping malls and X'mas crowds that we went ECP to be closer to nature :) And we bumped into Fongguan :) Had a quick catch-up with him. Fongguan is someone who craps so much (sometimes it really get on my nerves) but at the same time he is ever so grounded. I have grew to like this man.
Afterwhich, we went for a walk from Macs to Bedok Jetty so as to shake off Wanqing's shaker's fries. The to-and-fro journey took us 2 hours. They made many changes to ECP which I don't really like. To me, a beach is always a beach. Why does the government wants to have a whole row of restaurants built so close to the coast. WTF. It spoils the tranquility of the beach. And why is it that toilets at the beaches are clean only when we have to pay to enter?
We talked about life in general. The most interesting topic was," How to defend yourself and stay ever vigilant?" What was discussed was too much to be typed out. I am too lazy :) So we went home, on high alert and slightly frightful. I ran all the way to my door after Wanqing dropped me off at the bus-stop. As I grew older, I realised I am not as man as I used to be. Damn!
