Hello!
We're fabulous and we know it

The Girls

Friends since we were thirteen, its quite amazing we're still friends since we are all so different. From left: Alice, Szejia, Liyi, Qiuyi, Dorothy, Tan Yun, Liting, Anne, and Wanqing

Fashion Nation
Dorothy and Wanqing's genius
idea, originated from the
classrooms of Cedar where they flipped magazines during breaks. Just another reason to add on to why we're fabulous - there are fashion gurus amongst us!

Anger aroused by something unjust, mean, or unworthy.

I just like them okay. *snap*

and i still think it is very funny to wear five coke-bottle cap sized badges pinned on your bag.

anyway I think YY or someone else liked Hanson too, if you're talking about brother-ed bands.

Haha.

Alright, I think this is an appropriate time to drag something out of the past.

So, do you still remember those badges? Well I do. Why? Because I got ridiculed endlessly (and rather mercilessly) for displaying my love for them in such a public way!

And let's remember some more stuff. As the sole BSB fan among most of my social circle (okay, the rest have their own boybands to worship - for e.g. YY was really into those 4 brothers band; was it Moffats/Muppets?! Haha), I had to defend their good name whenever anyone dubbed them 'Backside Boys' (really, how distasteful! Boyfriend still calls them that anyway. Stupid man), referred to Nick as 'Nail Cutter' (this is the epitome of lower sec childish-ness *laugh*), or said that he is fat.

Now, the moment of truth.

Wanqing was one of those people saying such things! Although I do think that she listened to their songs just like everyone else did at that time - after all, they were like the teenage music staple in our times :) And if you were one of those 'alternative' people who sneered at Pop music and blast rock/heavy metal/indie music the whole damn day when you were 14, screw you! And buzz off please.

What is the point of digging this up?

Absolutely nothing. Typical cheapthrill Dot nonsense as usual.

So Wanqing, how come?!

HAHAHA!

but I think we should try to make an effort to keep this going?

Everyone back in Singapore should not signify the death of this blog.

Besides it will be nice to keep up with everyone since we're all busy - I think we all haven't seen much of anyone right? Or is that a misconception.

Anyway, I came across this really nice pizza place thing, its at Sixth Avenue. Not too sure where it is or their price range, but read that the food's decent.

So how does dinner sometime soon sound to you guys? Or should we go there for tuan yuan lunch.

My highlight of the week = Backstreet Boys, so I'm suffering from a bout of crazymadlove for their songs now. Other resultant bodily reactions include euphoria, playing the BSB concert videos I took every hour at home, highly charged endorphin rushes therefore overall feeling much happier. and feeling nicer generally. and so I'm blogging here. Go to blog for more BSB concert details. Dot has something on them too.

Increase my capacity to love, decrease my impulses to throw stones, actual or mental.
-George Appleton

This was something that struck me during sermon on New Year's Day.

I have drew out my Resolutions for 2006 and I intend to keep to them. At least try my very best :) For this year, I hope to be constantly making improvements to my List of Resolutions. I feel that there is no need to wait till the end of a year. Any month is never too early for changes.

Spent New Year's Eve in the most quiet and simple way, with the last few hours of 2005 reflecting about what I have, should have or could have done.

2005 is gone forever. We have passed through one more year. One more year with its ups and downs. Gone are all the missed opportunities we may tend to regret. And 2005 will hold the memories of the missed opportunites in all of our lives. We could sit about and regret the failings of 2005. But I hope we will all look ahead and see the possibilites of the new year. Am certainly looking forward for this new year.

Can't wait for the coming back of the GoneAways. They will be back in 22 hours time :)

Hey girls, we are coming home. Please lay out the red carpet. *wink

Anyway, is there a chalet? If there is, I am looking forward to it. Just as I am looking forward to spending lots of time just hanging out and chatting with all of you. *kiss

Okay, I sort of disappeared okay?

But there are reasons for being MIA.

Firstly, I haven't had internet for some time. Not even in Copenhagen (for 2 weeks. bloody hell). So its really hard for me already seeing as I am addicted to it. Having withdrawal syndromes even as I type :P

Secondly, have been travelling for about 2 weeks now. Location check: just arrived in London from Paris. Am absolutely thrilled to see all the signs in English after 4.5 months of foreign languages (i.e. Danish, Czech, French).

Wish all of you girls are well! :) Happy new year! Will be back soon!

P.S. I will NOT participate in the expectations discourse.
