Welcome to the first announcement of the first party of 2006. The organizing committee = just me. Sick of mugging for the midterms? Is your brain telling you to stop studying already and get a life already? Is your body rejecting the idea of looming deadlines? (What deadlines?!!)

So, if you are looking forward to a poolside party + barbeque with nothing on 'cept your waterproof undies in the sunny month of March? Sounds good? You bet.

Date: 17 March 2006

Boyfriend is a convert! :) Went shopping with Boyfriend yesterday (since cycling was cancelled) and got really good bargains. Waikeong got a pair of CK Jeans and adidas running shoes. I saw this really nice pair of CK jeans but there was no size for me! :( You girls should know the feeling of wanting to get something but there is just none for you even if you are most willing to pay for it? argh! But I guess my adidas bag and M.A.C eye khol pencil made up for it :) Tried the khol pencil this morning, it is really good.

And yes, Boyfriend and I are going to get Birkis here. We need one more person so that we can get shipping FOC. But it will only be in mid-March. There are simply just so many things to buy! I saw this pair of Asics running shoes. I want it! Someone, buy for me please. If I have to go on listing the things-liting-wants, it will just go on and on.

Anyway, other than the great buys, it was a great weekend spent.

Went out on a spontaneous outing with Anne to explore Kampong Glam. I got myself a tissue holder with lovely embroideries. And we bought Sloggi bras! Cheap, cheap! It is in fact cheaper than the price in Bangkok hor. This is well followed by a spontaneous dinner with Tze and Malcom.

Met up with my SA basketball guys. It is amazing how they are still the same after 4 years. Still so fun-loving and childish. And come to think about it, I really miss watching them play basketball.

Right now, I am so looking forward to the receiving of the Progress Package which will be used to finance my travel. Which means more money for other stuff :)

For the First-timers,

Yun: I hope your first Valentine with boyfriend would turn out to be everything that you have always wanted to be or dreamt to have. I love you!

Qiuyi: Your first single Valentine after half a decade. I hope you enjoy yourself with the YEPs. I love you!

Anne: Your first proper single date with Rong which should have happen 8 years ago. But nevertheless, it's not too late. I love you!

For the think they have No-dates,

Alice: I bet you will be watching TV at home. Please lah!! I know if you want, you can definitely find a date. How about Malcolm? :) I love you!

Dorothy: I know studying for test sucks. But I'm sure tulips delivered to your doorstep makes everything better. A quick dinner with Yibin will do too. I love you!

For the gruesome-twosome (closet or not),

Liyi: Not sure what you are doing tonight. Still, I hope you would have a good time with Weijie :) I love you!

Qing: Enjoy your crabs! And don't scold me :) I love you!

For the MIA,

Jia: I love you!

All I want to say is that I love you girls loads. Have a blessed Valentine's Day :) hugs and kisses!

Itchy fingers to blog indicates that a new blog might be on the way... need to think of a name first though. Ideas? the word 'anne has to be in there *grinz*

Great voice, great lyrics, sounds really good with the piano and guitar, quirky. Too down to earth i think but oh well... still charming. Enjoyed myself tremendously, esp since I had good company=)

On another note, I've taken off THE photo from the blog. Why? Coz i feel strange about it and it makes me dwell on the past. And at the place that I am in right now, I have no desire at all to do that. You know, old news should remain just that. Let it go... move on.

Right now, I am much more worried about my apathy towards my studies and future in general. Perhaps it is time to grow up and act my age. This has been a long time coming.

It's a scandal because Qiuyi wants it to be... or imagines it to be=P

ANYWAYS... (I have learnt how to speak in internet slang)... I SAW CORRINE MAY yesterday. and TOOK A PHOTO WITH HER. ok. she's not jay chou, OR BSB... OR even Fann wong for that matter... BUT to a person who loves her songs and thinks Flyaway is like one of the most emotional song i've heard... SHE made my day...

that and the fact that i manage somehow to bump into quite a few friends today... and had dinner with another few. it takes little to make me happy=)

so when yun sends me the photo you will b sure u'll be finding it on this BLOG.

Till then.... toodles!

Hi girls.

This will be ultra short post. Just a couple of things to say.

1. CAN BLOG OR NOT AH?!
Tsk. I didn't think that this is a SEP blog or whatever.

2. Actually, even now that we're back, it still seems pretty much like we're not, because we still
see so little of one another what. That's why this blog is still very relevant okay?

3. Regarding meeting up, I think it is extremely idealistic and unrealistic to organise mass outings (and ONLY mass outings) because it is highly unlikely that all of us will be free at the same time. Therefore, I suggest having mini outings, which involve the 2 or 3 people who are free, as and when.

Shit, this turned out to be a not so short post after all.
